For the Athena Music and Leadership Camp, June 15-19, 2025
This is a need-based scholarship for those with qualifying financial circumstances. Eligibility is based on the same household income standards used by many school systems and government aid programs to determine eligibility. Please check the qualification table on the application to see if you meet the household requirements for this scholarship. If your household income is below the Annual Income level, your student qualifies for the scholarship.
Scholarship covers full tuition including housing, meals, all leadership, empowerment, and music clinics and workshops, large and small group instruction, and an Athena camp t-shirt.
This scholarship does not include transportation to and from camp.
For the Athena Music and Leadership Camp, June 15-19, 2025
The Athena Financial Award Program offers support to deserving young ladies to explore the benefits of Athena. Awards are presented to students completing grades 5-11 with at least one year of band or private lessons experience. Recipients are chosen through an application process.
Awards are presented based on the merit of the application and director/private teacher recommendation.
Individual awards can range from $200 to $450 to assist with the Athena Music and Leadership Camp tuition. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Students will be notified of award decisions on a rolling basis.

The Athena Financial Award Program is excited to offer one $500 award to support a talented and motivated student from North Carolina to attend the 2025 Athena Music and Leadership Camp. Eligible students must be in middle school or high school and have at least one year of band or private lessons experience.
Award winner will be notified by May 7, 2025
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
The Athena Financial Awards are funded primarily through tax-deductible donations to the Music Essentials Heritage Corporation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that exists to support young people through music. Gifts of every amount will Empower Young Women Through Music at Athena!
