The Athena Financial Award Program offers support to deserving young ladies to explore the benefits of Athena. Awards are presented to students completing grades 5-11 with at least one year of band or private lessons experience. Recipients are chosen through an application process. 

Awards are presented based on the merit of the application and director/private teacher recommendation.

Individual awards can range from $200 to $450 to assist with the Athena Music and Leadership Camp tuition. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Students will be notified of award decisions on a rolling basis. 

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

1. Complete the online application. This includes an essay of a minimum of 150 words answering the questions: Why do you want to attend the Athena Music and Leadership Camp? What do you hope to gain from the experience? Be sure to write your essay before completing the application, then cut/paste to the application when ready to submit.
2. Have your band director or private music teacher complete a reference form that may be accessed here: TEACHER RECOMMENDATION FORM
